My name is Damjan Vucenov and I am the final year student at Faculty of Agriculture , University of Novi Sad,in the Department of Cattle Breeding .

My love for horses are at early age,perhaps as a family tradition. My great - grandfather was in horse selling business , and my grandfather and father used them in most of farming jobs ( plought ) . When I was two years old , my gradfather and my father bought me a small work horse . This helped me in learning riding . In 1996 we bought a beautiful castrate half - Lipizzaner horse , and , in 2000 , a male foal CONVERSANO DRAVA II which is the offspring of a famous stallion from the Karadjordjevo horse - breeding farm , CONVERSANO ZORE IX and the mare DRAVA II .Lipizzaner - breed horses are well - known for their high action of the front legs in walk and especially in lope .This way of walking , makes them rather suitable for training .Lipizzaner horses are peaceful and obedient , thus easly trained . Thank to my parents and my family, my love for this breed has grown and my dream about them has come true .The horses are bathed and groomed daily , horse shoes are checked and replaced on regular basis . They are fed whit well - balanced feeding mixtures ( carbohydrates ,minerals , etc ... ) and hay . All this is taken care of by one person.I would like to bring our horse breeding on higher level,primarily in terms of tandem race . It is of esential importance to provide suitable conditions and accommodation which in turn results in favorable conditions for reproduction and training .
